The titles for all the images is in the artist's statement, and the edited (oil painting) will be on the left side.
The first image is edited using an oil painting, and it is titled 'The Flower.' The second image is edited without the oil painting and is called 'Summer is Coming.' Both of these images were taken at the start of the trail in Miller Woods. They are both small flowers that are boundless in the woods, and are commonly found together. I actually have the purple flowers in my backyard right now, and they are blooming due to the temperature now. The white flower is one that isn't as common in the woods as the purple.
The first image (edited with the oil painting) is called 'The Tree.' The second image is called 'Knot in the Wood.' These photos are of two different trees that I found in the middle of my hike through Miller Woods. One time, my dad was walking there with my dog and he knocked on the side of the tree and a woodpecker flew out right next to his face. Ever since, whenever we go in the woods, he always knocks on that tree and sees if any birds still reside there. There are tons of interesting trees in Miller Woods, and they are all different and stunning to look at.
The first image, which is edited using on of Claude Monet's oil paintings, is titled 'Signs of Spring.' The second image is titled 'Sprouts' as they are coming out of the ground. These images are taken at Wildwood Park in the woods. There was a lot of little sprouts and plants that were springing up due to the warm weather. The trail and paths get a lot of sunlight, so there are always different types of plants and flowers growing in it. The people who live on the side of the paths are always planting new things and making sure that the trails are being taken care of. I enjoy walking through the trails and finding new plants that are hoping spring is on the way.
The image on the left, edited with the oil painting, is called 'Tainted Tetons.' The image on the right is titled 'The Span of the Tetons.' These were pictures that I took over the summer of the Teton Mountains in Wyoming. As you can see, these magnificent mountains are free of human interference and full of wondrous things waiting to be discovered. We spent two weeks out west, visiting Yellowstone, the Badlands, Mt. Rushmore, Colorado, and many more places that make up the great american wild west. I loved the trip, and have so many photos from it similar to these.
The image on the left is edited with the Claude Monet oil painting, and is titled 'Lone Leaf.' The second image is called 'The Leaf Source.' These images were taken in the middle of the Wildwood trail. The first leaf is hanging on by a thread and the last old leaf from the winter. The trees are fallen due to the harsh winter, and have become part of the ground environment. The vines from the tree are in the ground and the spindly branch on the far left of the image is going off into the air. There are many things trying to come back to life after a hard, harsh and long winter.
